Zimbabwe your next Holiday Station : Get cheap flights to Zimbabwe

If you were planning that once-in-a-lifetime safari holiday to southern Africa, chances are Zimbabwe would have topped your list. Zimbabwe's parks and reserves had all the right credentials: the best guides in Africa, a wide diversity of game, vast tracks of untamed wilderness, and phenomenal activities - from classic walking and river safaris to tiger fishing. As safari-goers turned their attention elsewhere, many of Zim's camps and lodges were forced to close down ... but there are those who stayed.

Zimbabwe is a country in Southern Africa. It is landlocked and is surrounded by South Africa to the south, Botswana to the southwest, Zambia to the northwest, and Mozambique to the east and north. The Zambezi river forms the natural boundary with Zambia and when in full flood the massive Victoria Falls on the river forms the world’s largest curtain of falling water. The Victoria Falls are a major tourist attraction. Once known as the Breadbasket of Africa, since 2000 Zimbabwe has undergone an economic collapse and the rule of law has gradually but largely broken down under the rule of President Robert Mugabe. Stone cities were built in many locations in present-day Zimbabwe. The most impressive structures and the best known of these, Great Zimbabwe, were built in the 15th century, but people had been living on the site from about 400 AD.

Take a look at our 'travel guides Africa' for a few of our favourite Zimbabwe Accomodation Guide either close to the action within ambling distance of the Falls, or further upstream in the smaller, more personal lodges (we've even included a couple on private islands).

When planning your holiday, give yourself enough time to experience the incredible variety this destination has to offer. After all, where else could you swim with the Devil then fly with the Angels - all within sight of one of the 'Natural Wonders of the World'.

Should I install windows xp service pack 3?

I know there is another question about it, but it was half a year ago, and it was in beta testing. I usually just zim through windows updates, BUT it this one asks me back up my files. Now, that makes me suspicious about the update. I really don't know how to back up my files(which I'm guessing you people will tell me how), and even if something were to go wrong, that I have to resort to my recovery CD's. I'd be practically screwed, since I don't think I still have my recovery cd's for my laptop, or are probably locked away in my storage house causing to much of a mess to take. So, I am asking should I download it, and how do I back up my files?
Well, I do happen to have an USB. So, far 2 answers telling me yes. All I am asking is it necessary or recommened, meaning will my laptop be able to run on without it?

There is always *some* risk with installing updates, whether they are security updates, critical updates, or service packs.

SP3 is a cumulative service pack that covers all updates, so really, if you have been keeping your PC up to date, the service pack really won't do much to improve your security.

Ultimately I would recommend that you DO install it. Windows will backup Windows files if you need to roll back. DO make sure to back up your data (reinstalling Windows is one thing, but recovering lost data is a whole different ball game) either to a different hard drive or removable media (CD, DVD, thumb drive).
